Chinese Weiqi Association
Chinese Weiqi Association ( Chinese 中国 围棋 协会 ), or Chinese Go Association , was founded in 1962 in Hefei , Anhui , and is the largest Go organization in China . As a branch of the Zhongguo Qiyuan , it oversees professional Go players as well as strong amateurs and has the same function as the Japanese Nihon Kiin and other similar Go organizations.
The Chinese Weiqi Association became a member of the International Go Federation in 1982.
