Chinese bee museum

The Chinese Bee Museum ( Chinese  中国蜜蜂博物馆 , Pinyin Zhongguo Mifeng Bowuguan , English China Honey Bee Museum ) is located in the Beijing Municipality Haidian in the Botanical Gardens Beijing in Xiangshan (Fragrant mountains), then west of Wofo Temple . It was built in 1993 and is part of the Bee Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences ( 中国 农业 科学院 蜜蜂 研究所 馆 , Zhongguo nongye kexueyuan Mifeng yanjiusuo ).

The exhibition hall covers 150 square meters and is divided into three exhibition rooms, in which over 500 photographs and more than 700 exhibits on the origin of the bee with fossils, the history of apiculture (or beekeeping ), the relationships between honeybees and humans, China's apiculture, biology of Honey bee, apiculture technology, pollination, bee products and bee therapy, achievements and research results of modern Chinese apiculture, etc. can be seen.
