The Chloride Group is a British manufacturer of uninterruptible power supplies (UPS) and is now part of the Emerson Electric Company . In the 20th century, the Chloride Group was one of the leading battery manufacturers. In the 1980s, the main business of UPS systems started today. In 2000, Masterguard, Siemens' UPS business, was taken over .

In September 2010, the Chloride Group was acquired by Emerson Electric for $ 1.5 billion and integrated into Emerson Network Power .
