The Gardon de Sainte-Croix is a river in France that runs in the Lozère department in the Occitanie region . It rises under the name Valat de Baumoleirou in the Cevennes National Park , on the municipal boundary of Le Pompidou and Vebron , drains in a north-westerly direction for the first few kilometers, but soon turns to the south-east, flows through the valley known as Vallée Française and flows just below the valley after 28 kilometers Hamlet Le Martinet in the municipality of Saint-Étienne-Vallée-Française as a right tributary to the Gardon , which is called Gardon de Mialet in this section .
