Choe Kum-chol (born February 9, 1987 in Pyongyang ) is a North Korean football player .

Career

Choe appears internationally as a player in the April 25 Sports Group , the club of the Korean People's Army .

Choe has been part of the North Korean national team since 2008 and came in the successful qualification for the 2010 World Cup, mostly as a substitute, to a total of eight appearances in which he scored two goals. In the qualifying rounds for the East Asian Championships in 2008 and 2010, the striker was also in the squad and scored two goals.
