The Cholerzyn Depression ( Obniżenie Cholerzyńskie in Polish ) in Poland is an elongated valley in the west -east direction in the western part of the Kraków Gate in the Northern Carpathian Mountains .

geography

The Cholerzyn Depression extends in the south to the Vistula . To the south, the Skawina moat and the Kraków Land Bridge connect . In the north lies the Kraków-Czestochowa Jura and the Kielc highlands .

The Cholerzyn Depression is densely populated and hardly forested. There are numerous wet meadows, lakes and cirque formations. The region is mainly used for agriculture.
