Khorassani style

The Khorassani style ( Persian سبک خراسانی, IPA : sæbk ɛ xoɾɑsɑni ) is a traditional Iranian architectural style. In chronological order it is the third architectural style after the Parsi and Parti styles. The architectural style developed in the early 8th century and existed until the 10th century. He was heavily influenced by Sassanid architectural elements, particularly the arched architecture of Taq-e Kisra . This architectural style has elliptical arches, the mosques are egg-shaped and very simple.
