Chris Harris (born January 20, 1975 ) is a British motor journalist and racing driver. As an author he wrote articles for the magazines Evo and Autocar as well as the online magazine Jalopnik . In addition, he was already the moderator of the YouTube channel / Drive and its offshoot on NBC . Harris also maintains his own YouTube channel, Chris Harris on Cars , on which he and his long-time colleague Neil Carey present driving and experience reports on a wide variety of vehicles. The comparison between the Ferrari LaFerrari , the McLaren P1 and the Porsche 918 attracted more attention . In February 2016, his channel had 338,000 subscribers and nearly 25 million views.

In December 2015, Harris was first mentioned as a possible co-host of Chris Evans on the remake of the British automobile show Top Gear . In February 2016 he was co-hosted with Evans, Sabine Schmitz , Matt LeBlanc , Eddie Jordan and Rory Reid .
