Christa Schnabl

Christa Schnabl (born September 4, 1964 in Rabenstein an der Pielach ) is an Austrian theologian.

Life

After graduating from the federal high school in St. Pölten in 1982, she studied independent religious education at the University of Vienna from 1982 to 1988. From 1987 to 1989 she trained as a seminar leader in theological adult education. From 1989 worked as a research assistant and consultant in adult education. After graduating as a Magistra of Theology in 1988, she was a research assistant at the Vienna theological courses (Archdiocese of Vienna) and at the Institute for Correspondence Course for Theological Education (Austrian Bishops' Conference) from 1989 to 1996 as well as teaching activities in theological adult education. From 1992 to 1993 she had a study and research stay in Münster. From 1993 to 1998 she was a contract assistant at the Institute for Moral Theology at the University of Vienna (50% employment). From March 2004 she was appointed associate professor at the Institute for Social Ethics of the Catholic Theological Faculty of the University of Vienna .
