Christa Stipp

Christa Stipp (* 1990 in Bingen am Rhein , Rhineland-Palatinate ) is a German meteorologist and television presenter .

Life

Christa Stipp was born in 1990 in Bingen am Rhein and grew up in Weiler near Bingen . In 2009 she graduated from the Stefan-George-Gymnasium . During her school days, she completed an internship at EUMETSAT ( European Organization for the Use of Meteorological Satellites ) in Darmstadt in 2007 . The internship had a major impact on her professional career. In 2008 she took part in the German Student Academy . In 2009 she went to Israel to do voluntary service . From 2009 to 2012 she studied meteorology at the University of Mainzand did her Bachelor of Science in meteorology. From 2011 to 2013 she worked as a student assistant at the Institute for Atmospheric Physics, a research institute of the German Aerospace Center. In 2012, Christa Stipp completed an internship at the private weather service provider Q.met and then worked there. From 2013 to 2015 she completed an extra-occupational master’s degree in meteorology at the University of Mainz.

Christa Stipp has been working in the ZDF weather department since February 2015 . Since July 2015 she has been working as a weather presenter for the ZDF Mittagsmagazin and other ZDF programs.
