Wilhelm Ernst Friedrich Schmidt

Wilhelm Ernst Friedrich Schmidt (born August 20, 1872 in Hespe ; † May 5, 1944 there ) was a German farmer and politician.

Schmidt went to sea in his youth before he married in Meerbeck in 1899 and took over his father's farm in Hespe. In the First World War he did military service in the Navy. In addition to his agricultural activity, he was also a tax collector from 1911 to 1942 and, after 1918, a forest overseer at the state forest ranger's office in Spießingshof .

From 1919 to 1922 Schmidt was a member of the state parliament of the Free State of Schaumburg-Lippe .
