Christiaan Alting von Geusau

Christiaan WJM Alting von Geusau (born November 23, 1971 ) is a Dutch legal scholar .

Life

As a student he attended Maurick College and the Vrijbergen Institute . From 1990 to 1991 he studied philosophy at the Franciscan University of Steubenville , from 1991 to 1996 law at the Universiteit Leiden (Mag.iur.), From 1996 to 1997 at the University of Heidelberg ( LL.M. ) and from 2008 to 2012 from the University of Vienna ( Dr. iur. ) with Gerhard Luf and Ernst Hirsch Ballin . Since 2014 he has been the rector and professor for legal philosophy and Christian education at the International Theological Institute - Trumau University. In 2018 he was also appointed honorary professor at the University of San Ignacio de Loyola with main sizz in Lima, Peru. In 2013 he founded the Schola Thomas More, a Catholic private high school in Baden near Vienna and since 2017 in Trumau, Lower Austria. Since its establishment in 2010, he has also been President of the International Catholic Legislators Network .
