Christiaan Van Driessche

Christiaan Van Driessche (* 1944 ) is a Belgian diplomat .

Life

Christiaan Van Driessche studied law , joined the foreign service in 1984 and was accredited in Sub-Saharan Africa , Brazil and Israel . From July 19, 2000 to January 10, 2001 he was Ambassador to Lagos , Nigeria . From June 11, 2003 to 2004 he was ambassador to Addis Ababa . With a decree from Albert II of July 18, 2008, Christiaan Van Driessche applied to the Algerian government of Ahmed Ouyahia for exequatur as consul general for Algiers . Since September 1st, 2008 he has been ambassador to Algiers.
