Christian Beidl

Christian Beidl (born October 10, 1961 in Graz ) is an Austrian mechanical engineer .

Life

After completing his school education in Steyr , Beidl studied mechanical engineering at the Graz University of Technology from 1980 and then worked there as a research assistant at the Institute for Internal Combustion Engines and Thermodynamics. He received his doctorate there in 1992 in the field of engine acoustics to Dr. techn. Since October 2008 he has been a professor in the mechanical engineering department at the Technical University of Darmstadt , where he is head of the Institute for Internal Combustion Engines and Vehicle Drives.
