Christian Breunig

Christian Breunig (born February 16, 1974 ) is a German political scientist.

Life

In 1996 he passed the intermediate examination at the University of Heidelberg (political science and mathematics, minor subject geography). He obtained his Master of Arts degree in 2001 from the Department of Political Science at the University of Oklahoma . In 2004 he obtained a Master of Arts degree from the Department of Political Science at the University of Washington . The Ph.D. ( Institutions, attention shifts, and changes within national budgets ) he acquired in 2007 at the Institute for Political Science at the University of Washington (Comparative Politics , Political Economy and Methodology). From 2007 to 2008 he was a research assistant at the Max Planck Institute for the Study of Societies . From 2008 to 2012 he was Assistant Professor at the Department of Political Science at the University of Toronto . In 2012 he became an associate professor there. Since 2012 he has been teaching as Professor of Comparative Politics, Institute for Political Science and Public Administration, University of Konstanz .
