Christian Buder (writer)

Christian Buder (born February 28, 1968 in Memmingen ) is a German writer .

Life

After studying business administration at the University of Applied Sciences in Kempten and Fulda, Christian Buder began studying philosophy at the University of Marburg in 1996 . Fascinated by the writings of the French philosopher Jacques Derrida , he switched to the University of Paris VIII after completing his main studies . He completed his philosophy studies with a thesis on the death penalty. After a stay in Colombia, Marseille and Aix-en-Provence, he received his doctorate at the École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales (EHESS) in Paris. In his dissertation he dealt with Hegel's concept of time. In 2006 Christian Buder was a scholarship holder at the University of Chicago with the American philosopher Robert Pippin .

Christian Buder lives and works in Berlin today . He is married and has a daughter.
