Christian Fürstaller

Christian Fürstaller (born December 30, 1964 in Piesendorf , Austria ) is a former Austrian soccer player and entrepreneur .

Career as a player

Christian Fürstaller, discovered in 1984 by Hannes Winklbauer at FC Zell am See and promoted to Austria Salzburg , was one of Salzburg's championship eleven from 1994 and 1995. His position was that of man-markers. Another success was the entry into the UEFA Cup final with SV Austria Salzburg. He ended his football career in 1996.

Between 1994 and 1995 Fürstaller played five times for the Austrian national team.

Entrepreneur

The Fürstaller, who grew up in Piesendorf im Pinzgau , is a trained blacksmith , locksmith and agricultural machinery mechanic, worked from the 1980s to 2003 for the forwarding company of Rudi Quehenberger , his former president at Austria Salzburg, where he was appointed chairman of the board in 2001 and for the business athlete in 2005 Award 2005 was nominated.

Between 2005 and 2008 Christian Fürstaller was CEO of TNT Logistics Central & Eastern Europe , which has been called CEVA Logistics since January 2007 .

Christian Fürstaller is CEO and managing partner of the Augustin Quehenberger Group GmbH . In July 2009, the former professional soccer player took over LKW Augustin , one of Austria's largest transport companies, together with Rodolphe Schoettel and Rudi Quehenberger . The company has since been called Augustin Network .

In February 2010, the business areas Road + Rail Eastern Europe and the Network Austria from Logwin AG were added, which are now called Quehenberger logistics again .
