Christian Gion

Christian Gion (born March 10, 1940 in Tarbes ) is a French director .

Christian Gion became famous in Germany in the 1970s with the films It's not easy in this world (1975, with Bernard Blier and Francis Perrin ), Im Garten der Qualen (1976, based on Octave Mirbeau ) and Das Freudenhaus in Rue Provence ( 1977, with Francis Huster and Nicole Calfan ). The 1978 romantic comedy A Pauker zu Falling in love is a success , in which a shy teacher ( Henri Guybet ) falls in love with the widowed mother ( Claude Jade ) of a schoolboy. He can share this success with the farce Pétrole! Pétrole! tie in. In the mid-1980s he had only moderate success with comedies such as Vittorio the Heartbreaker and Pizza, Kitty and Moneten , both with Aldo Maccione . In the 1990s, Zum Teufel mit Paris (with Michel Galabru ) and Who is now the boss? (with Anthony Delon ).
