Christian Grindheim (born July 17, 1983 in Haugesund ) is a Norwegian football player .

Career

society

The 179 cm tall player began his career at FK Haugesund , where he made his debut in 2000. There he quickly became a leading player and was even captain of the team.

In 2005 he moved to Vålerenga IF . There, too, he was a regular player and captain. In 2007 he moved abroad and signed with the Dutch first division club SC Heerenveen . He was only used for his new team on February 16, 2008. On matchday 25, in a 2-2 win against Heracles Almelo , he was called up in the starting line-up. By the end of the season he was used eight more times in the league and twice in the play-off round. He had his breakthrough the following season, when he was used 30 times in the league. Here he met four times. He was also a regular player in the next two seasons. Since the 2011/12 season he has been playing for the Danish first division club FC Copenhagen .

National team

The 22-year-old made his international debut on August 17, 2005 against Switzerland. He scored his first international goal on February 11, 2009 when he scored in a surprising 1-0 win against Germany (first win by a Norwegian team against Germany in almost 73 years).
