Christian Grossenbacher

Christian Grossenbacher (born January 28, 1980 ) is a former Swiss athlete . His specialty was the 400 meter hurdles . In 2009 he was the first Swiss track athlete to win the military world championship at the CISM World Championships in Sofia . He is also a multiple Swiss champion. Due to an injury, he announced his retirement from top-class sport in September 2010.

Grossenbacher lives in Winterthur . After studying business administration , he works as a tax consultant. He is 1.86 m tall and had a competition weight of 80 kg, his trainer was Albert Hager .
