Christian Haeckl
Christian Häckl (born February 1, 1964 in St. Pölten ) is an Austrian meteorologist .
life and career
Christian Häckl studied meteorology after graduating from the Leopold-Franzens-University Innsbruck and in 1983 became a member of the Catholic student association AV Vindelicia Innsbruck in the ÖCV .
Häckl had been an employee of Meteomedia AG since 1991 and, alternating with Jörg Kachelmann, presented the weather on SWF 3 . In 1992 he took over the representation for Kachelmann in the weather moderation in the ARD morning magazine . Since January 1994 he has been working as a meteorologist and head of the weather department at RTL . There he presents the weather on the news program RTL aktuell . On April 14, 2004, Häckl took part in the Star Duell music competition as a candidate .
Häckl has been married to Mrs. Aline for the second time since 2004 and has two sons and a daughter from his first marriage. He lives with his family in Pulheim near Cologne .
