Christian Kollik

Christian Kollik (born December 23, 1980 in Graz ) is a former Austrian basketball player .

career

Kollik played in Kapfenberg before moving to the United States in 2000, where he combined competitive sports and engineering at Rice University  (state of Texas ). The 2.03-meter-tall winger played a total of 81 matches for the university team up to 2004 and scored an average of 1.9 points per game.

In 2005 he returned to Kapfenberg and played for the team in the Bundesliga and in the European Cup. In the 2006/07 season he was under contract with Bundesliga rivals Fürstenfeld Panthers , in 2007/08 he strengthened St. Pölten before he played the last two years of his professional career (2008 to 2010) at UBSC Graz (also Bundesliga).

Kollik was a team player and represented the Austrian national team in B-European championship tournaments.
