Christian Langer (* 11 July 1969 in Hamburg ) is a former German - Swiss hockey player , who in his playing days for the SC Rapperswil-Jona , SC Bern and EHC Chur in the National League A and the Frankfurt Lions in the German Ice Hockey League played and in 1997 won the Swiss championship with SC Bern .

Career

The German-Swiss dual citizen Christian Langer, who played in the position of defender, played in his youth for SC Rapperswil-Jona , for which he made his debut in the National League B during the 1986/87 season . 1994 promotion to the National League A . After he had secured the league in the top division with SC Rapperswil-Jona in the following season, the right-shooting defender left the club and moved to the capital for SC Bern .

The player from Hamburg won the Swiss championship in the 1996/97 season wearing the Mutzen jersey with the Stadtberner Verein . He completed another season in the dress of the Bernese, in which the title defense failed. He then returned to Rapperswil. For the 1999/2000 season Langer was signed by the Frankfurt Lions from the German Ice Hockey League . He ended his professional career in the following year with the NLA Club EHC Chur .
