Christian Lautenschlag

Christian Lautenschlag (born 1949 ) is a German-language writer and translator who published four books and several short stories under the name Marockh Lautenschlag in the 1980s . According to the lexicon of science fiction literature , Lautenschlag used a female pseudonym to publish his first books as women's literature . The book of stories Der Wald , the book of poems Artemis went to the hunt , the fantasy novel Araquin and finally the science fiction novel Sweet America were published in women's book publishers.

He was awarded the Kurd-Laßwitz Prize in 2002 for his translation of Connie Willis ' novel To Say Nothing of the Dog (German as Die Farben der Zeit or, not to speak of, the dog and how we finally found the Bishop's bird bath ) . His short stories Nobody except you and I come home from my wings were nominated for the Kurd-Laßwitz-Prize in 1986 and 1998 respectively.
