Christian Pollas

Christian Pollas (* 1947 ) is a French astronomer . He works at the Observatoire de la Côte d'Azur ( IAU code 010).

Pollas discovered a total of 26 asteroids between 1984 and 1995 , 16 of them together with Eric Walter Elst . The asteroid Toutatis deserves a special mention . Pollas also discovered several supernova remnants .

In 1994 the asteroid (4892) Chrispollas was named after him.
