Christian Schäfer (philosopher)

Christian Schäfer (* 1967 in Jaboticabal , Brazil ) is a German philosopher .

Schäfer studied from 1987 to 1992 Catholic theology, philosophy and political science at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich , at the University of Philosophy in Munich and in Rome at the Pontifical Gregorian University and at the Pontifical University of Saint Thomas Aquinas . From 2004 to 2009 Schäfer was Professor of Christian Philosophy at the Catholic Theological Faculty of the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich and head of the Martin Grabmann Research Institute . Schäfer has been Professor of Philosophy at the University of Bamberg since 2009 .
