Christian Terhoeven (born May 12, 1977 in Recklinghausen ) is a German radio presenter and moderation trainer.

Life

Terhoeven comes from Recklinghausen . He started in 1996 as a presenter at NRW local radio . From 1998 to 2003 he worked as the main early presenter and as head of duty at Radio FiV in Recklinghausen. In 1998 he won the LfR radio award in the “Comedy / Entertainment” category. From 2000 to 2001 Christian Terhoeven completed his traineeship at Radio FiV in Recklinghausen. In 2003 Terhoeven switched to RTL Radio in Luxembourg . In 2004 he started at WDR in Cologne , where he worked for the first three years as an editor for the morning program. After Terhoeven had initially moderated a radio show alone on 1 Live , he could be heard from 2007 to December 2015 from Monday to Friday in double moderation with his colleague Michael Dietz . In addition, both moderated the show on Saturday morning on 1Live during this time. From January 2016, Terhoeven continued to present various programs on 1Live. From July 11, 2016 to March 20, 2020, Terhoeven hosted the early morning show "Mein Morgen" on WDR 4 . He also works as a moderation trainer for 1 Live on behalf of the ARD ZDF media academy . Christian Terhoeven lives in Cologne.
