Christian von Popp
Christian Popp , since 1918 Ritter von Popp (born April 7, 1891 in Bayreuth ; † May 11, 1964 ibid) was a German architect and honorary citizen of the city of Bayreuth.
Life
During the First World War, Popp was awarded the Knight's Cross of the Military Max Joseph Order as a lieutenant in the reserve and company commander in the 4th Infantry Regiment "King Wilhelm von Württemberg" of the Bavarian Army on May 8, 1917 . With the award, the elevation to the personal nobility was connected and he was allowed to call himself Ritter von Popp after his entry in the nobility register .
