Christiane Lütge (birth name Christiane Baumgardt ; born June 21, 1969 in Helmstedt ) is a German English and foreign language teacher at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich . She is the director of the Munich Center for Teacher Education.

Life

Christiane Lütge passed the first and second state exams in the subjects of English and history for teaching at grammar schools. She was a research assistant at the University of Hanover , as school teacher working in the school system, and then a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Bremen . From 2008 to 2009 she was professor for English literature and its didactics at the University of Hildesheim and from 2009 to 2011 professor for English didactics at the University of Mainz . From 2011 to 2015 she held the chair for English didactics at the University of Münster . In 2015 she was appointed to the chair for English didactics at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich. Since October 1, 2018, she has also been the director of the Munich Center for Teacher Education.
