Christiane Wassertheurer

Christiane Wassertheurer (born April 27, 1972 in Villach ) is an Austrian television presenter and author.

After graduating from high school in Hermagor , Christiane Wassertheurer studied German literature and philosophy. She wrote her diploma thesis in 1995 at the University of Vienna on the subject of The Ingeborg Bachmann Television Prize: the development of a literary competition for a television event . She began her professional career as a radio presenter at Antenne Steiermark . Then she was TW1 moderator and later switched to ZIB Weather. Since 2002 she has been in the newsflash on ORF 1 and sometimes in the ZIB-Wetter on the screen, from April 2007 Wassertheurer moderates the ZIB Flash , since 2013 the ZIB magazine. And since April 2019 she has also been part of the ORF-1-ZIB team, moderating ZIB Flashes, ZIB 18, ZIB 20, ZIB 100 and ZIB Nacht.

Christiane Wassertheurer has been married since 2004.
