Christina Weng (* 15. April 1961 in Minden ) is a German politician of the SPD and member of parliament for the state election Minden-Lübbecke II in North Rhine-Westphalia .

Weng was born in 1961 in the East Westphalian city ​​of Minden. From 1979 to 1982 she completed her training as a nurse , which she continued from 2000 to 2008 while studying health sciences, health management (BHC) and health economics. In 1990 she became a member of the staff council , and in 2000 she became chairman of the staff council of the clinics in the Mühlenkreis .

politics

Weng has been a member of the SPD since 1996, has been the deputy stand association chairwoman since 2002, and has been the deputy district association chairwoman of the SPD Minden-Lübbecke since 2014. In May 2017 she was elected to the state parliament with 42.66% of the first votes.
