The state constituency of Minden-Lübbecke II is a state electoral district in the district of Minden-Lübbecke . Since the state elections in North Rhine-Westphalia in 2005 , it has included the cities of Bad Oeynhausen , Minden and Porta Westfalica . Since the state elections in North Rhine-Westphalia in 2017 , the Bad Oeynhausen districts of Bad Oeynhausen, Lohe and Rehme have been part of the Herford I - Minden-Lübbecke III state electoral district . From 1980 to 2000 Minden-Lübbecke II included Bad Oeynhausen, Porta Westfalica and Hille , Minden and Petershagen formed the Minden-Lübbecke III state electoral district , which was dissolved by reducing the number of state electoral districts in North Rhine-Westphalia .
State election 2017
89,671 people were eligible to vote. Of these, 53,905 people cast their votes, which corresponds to a turnout of 60.11%. The winner is the SPD candidate and deputy district chairwoman of the SPD Minden-Lübbecke Christina Weng. She was elected to the state parliament for the first time. In addition, the AfD direct candidate Thomas Röckemann was elected to the state parliament via list position 16 on the state list of his party. The previous member of the state parliament Kirstin Korte (CDU) initially missed the re-entry into the state parliament, because the CDU state list did not move due to the high number of direct mandates. However, on June 30, 2017, she replaced Andrea Milz , who had been appointed State Secretary in the Laschet cabinet .
