The state electoral district of Recklinghausen III is a state electoral district in North Rhine-Westphalia . It includes the towns of Gladbeck and Dorsten from the Recklinghausen district , the latter with the exception of the districts of Deuten, Lembeck, Rhade and Wulfen, which belong to the Recklinghausen IV state electoral district .
The constituencies were changed many times in the past. When it was re-established, the constituency of Recklinghausen III included the communities of Datteln, Haltern and Oer-Erkenschwick, and part of Dorsten was added later. In the state elections in 2000 it then included the community of Herten and parts of Marl, which roughly corresponds to the area of today's constituency Recklinghausen II .
