The state electoral district of Dortmund III is a state electoral district in Dortmund in North Rhine-Westphalia . Since the state elections in North Rhine-Westphalia in 2005 , it has included the urban districts of Aplerbeck , Brackel and Scharnhorst .
From 1980 to 1995, Dortmund III consisted of the urban districts Mengede (today the regional constituency of Dortmund I ) and Eving (today the regional constituency of Dortmund II ), and in 2000 a part of Huckarde (today Dortmund I) was added. Brackel and Scharnhorst formed the regional constituency of Dortmund IV , Aplerbeck belonged to the disbanded regional constituency of Dortmund V.
