The regional constituency of Dortmund I is a constituency in Dortmund in North Rhine-Westphalia . Since the state elections in 2005, it has included the city districts of Innenstadt-West , Huckarde and Mengede .
From 1980 to 1995 only Huckarde and Innenstadt-West belonged to the constituency. Mengede and Eving formed the regional constituency of Dortmund III . In 2000, Huckarde was divided between these two constituencies.

The constituency is represented in the state parliament by the directly elected constituency member Armin Jahl (SPD), who has been a member of parliament since 2010. The previous pirate member Torsten Sommer failed with his party at the 5% hurdle and so left the state parliament.
