The state electoral district of Mönchengladbach II is a state electoral district in Mönchengladbach in North Rhine-Westphalia . It includes the districts of Hardt , Neuwerk , Rheindahlen and Stadtmitte , which were dissolved on October 22, 2009, however, and merged into the districts of West and North . However, the area will remain in place for the 2010 state elections. It has existed in this form since the state elections in 1980 (the area only differed slightly in 2000).

In addition to the new constituency member Jochen Klenner of the CDU, who succeeded the long-standing member of parliament Norbert Post , who no longer ran after four electoral terms, the FDP direct candidate Andreas Terhaag, who had already moved up to the state parliament in December 2015, was ranked 17th elected his party to parliament. The SPD direct candidate Angela Tillmann, who last moved up to the state parliament in January 2016, was not enough on the list to move into the state parliament again.
