The regional constituency of Bochum II is a regional constituency in North Rhine-Westphalia . Originally (1980 to 1995) the constituency consisted only of the Bochum districts south and south-west, but part of the central district was added in 2000 after its constituency was dissolved. At the moment the constituency includes the districts south and southwest, the municipal electoral district 13 Ehrenfeld der Mitte and the municipal electoral district 26 Eppendorf / Munscheid from the Wattenscheid district .

95,765 residents were entitled to vote, of which 71.3% took part in the election.
