The state constituency of Hamm I is a state electoral district in North Rhine-Westphalia . It covers six of the seven districts of the independent city of Hamm . Only Herringen belongs to a different constituency .

Its area has existed since 2005, it largely corresponds to the area of Hamm II , which existed from 1980 to 1995 and included Hamm without Herringen and Pelkum. 2000 was a peculiarity when even two constituencies covered the city of Hamm.
