The state constituency of Gütersloh I - Bielefeld III (constituency 94) is a constituency for the state elections in North Rhine-Westphalia . It comprises the west and north of the independent city of Bielefeld with the districts of Dornberg and Jöllenbeck as well as the communities of Halle , Steinhagen , Versmold , Borgholzhausen and Werther from the Gütersloh district . The constituency was re-established in this form for the 2005 state elections , as the Bielefeld / Gütersloh area lost a state electoral district. From 1980 to 2005, the city of Bielefeld and the Gütersloh district each had three state electoral districts.

The Gütersloh communities belonged to the Gütersloh III state electoral district until the state elections in 2000 . This now includes the communities of Langenberg , Rheda-Wiedenbrück , Rietberg , Schloß Holte-Stukenbrock and Verl , which corresponds to the previous constituency of Gütersloh I from 1980 to 2000.

The dissolved state constituency Bielefeld III comprised the districts of Brackwede, Gadderbaum, Senne, Sennestadt and Stieghorst.
