Ursula Bolte

Ursula Bolte (born May 11, 1944 in Brockhagen ) is a German politician and former member of the state parliament and district administrator ( SPD ).

Life

After attending elementary school and business school , she completed an apprenticeship as an industrial clerk . Bolte worked as an industrial clerk from 1962 to 1971.

Bolte has been a member of the SPD since 1966. She was active in numerous party bodies. I.a. From 1982 to 1998 she was chairwoman of the state committee of North Rhine-Westphalia, and also a member of the party council at federal level.

She is married and has two kids.

MPs

From June 1, 1995 to January 31, 1997, Bolte was a member of the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia . In January 1997 she resigned as she was elected full-time district administrator for the Gütersloh district. From June 2, 2000 to June 2, 2005 she was again a member of the state parliament. She was elected directly in constituency 104 Gütersloh III. From 1973 to 1999 she was a member of the district council of the Gütersloh district. From 1979 to 1996 Bolte was a member of the landscape assembly of the regional association Westphalia-Lippe , from 1989 to 1996 she was chairman.

Public offices

From September 1994 to January 1997 she was honorary district administrator and from January 1997 to September 1999 the first full-time district administrator of the Gütersloh district.

Others

Bolte was a member of the 10th, 11th and 12th Federal Assemblies , in which the Federal Presidents Roman Herzog , Johannes Rau and Horst Köhler were elected. She was a long-time member of the Social Committee of the Evangelical Church of Westphalia and its chairman from 2000 to 2009. During this time she was a member of the Synod of the Protestant Church of Westphalia. From 2009 to 2019 she was chairwoman of the Peter-August-Böckstiegel-Stiftung (Westphalian expressionist). Bolte was awarded the Federal Cross of Merit on ribbon and the Freiherr vom Stein medal from the Westphalia Regional Association.
