The regional constituency of Aachen II is a constituency in North Rhine-Westphalia . It covers the southern part of the city of Aachen . At first it only included the city districts of Brand , Eilendorf and Kornelimünster / Walheim , but later a part of the center , which previously belonged to Aachen I , was added. For the 2010 state elections, the constituency of the Mitte district comprised the districts 31 Kaiserplatz, 32 Adalbertsteinweg, 33 Panneschopp, 34 Rothe Erde , 35 Trierer Straße, 36 Frankenberg , 37 Forst , 41 Beverau , 42 Burtscheider Kurgarten, 43 Burtscheider Abbey and 46 Steinebrück. Compared to the state elections in 2005, the constituency lost the districts of 25 Kalkofen and 48 Hangeweiher , but gained 31 and 32.

The CDU candidate Armin Laschet, who had already represented the constituency from 2010 to 2012, won him back after five years from the previous SPD constituency member Daniela Jansen. Since Jansen's place on the SPD state list (No. 65) did not move, she left the state parliament.
