Daniela Jansen née Bloscheck (born September 23, 1977 in Dortmund ) is a German political scientist and North Rhine-Westphalian state politician ( SPD ). She was an elected member of the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia from 2012 to 2017 .

biography

After graduating from high school , Daniela Jansen studied sociology , political science and media studies at Heinrich Heine University in Düsseldorf with a bachelor's degree. This was followed by a master’s degree in political science, sociology and economic and social history at RWTH Aachen University (graduation 2005).

For a year and a half she was then a research assistant for Karl Schultheis, member of the state parliament . Most recently she worked as a project manager at the Aachen regional agency.

Daniela Jansen is married to Björn Jansen (SPD), who was acting mayor of the city of Aachen from 2009 to 2015.

Local politician

From 2008 to 2012, Jansen was a competent citizen in the Culture Works Committee of the Aachen City Council .

Since 2014 she has been a member of the Committee for Social Affairs, Health, Seniors and Demographic Change in the Aachen city region .

She was one of six candidates for the early election on November 4, 2018 for the city councilor of the city region of Aachen. In the runoff election on November 18, 2018, she lost 47.41 percent to the CDU candidate Tim Grüttemeier .

Member of the state parliament

In the state elections in North Rhine-Westphalia in 2012 , Jansen won a direct mandate in the Aachen II state electoral district . In the state election in 2017 she lost her constituency competitors and simultaneous CDU - top candidates Armin Laschet and resigned from the Diet.
