The state constituency of Recklinghausen I is a state constituency in North Rhine-Westphalia . Since 2000 it has covered the entire city of Recklinghausen in the district of the same name .

From 1980 to 1995 the constituency of Recklinghausen I still included the communities Dorsten and Herten and the Polsum district of the city of Marl , later Dorsten was also divided. Recklinghausen was then covered by the Recklinghausen V state electoral district .
