Helmut Marmulla

Helmut Marmulla (born April 7, 1933 in Bochum ; † September 20, 1997 ) was a German politician ( SPD ).

Life and work

After attending primary school , Marmulla initially worked as an agricultural assistant and then completed an apprenticeship as a shoemaker. From 1952 he was employed in the mining industry in Recklinghausen. He was a member of the main board of IG Bergbau . Marmulla had been a member of the SPD since 1954.

He was married and had two children.

MP

From May 30, 1985 to May 31, 1995 Marmulla was a member of the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia . He was directly elected in the constituency 085 Recklinghausen V.

From 1964 to 1989 he was a member of the Recklinghausen City Council . He was a member of the Recklinghausen district council from 1975 to 1994.

Public offices

From 1975 to 1994 he was district administrator for the Recklinghausen district.

Others

On August 9, 1989, he was awarded the Federal Cross of Merit, 1st class. He also received other awards such as B. from the Oberschlesier Landsmannschaft, the German Fire Brigade Association and the German Deaf Association.
