The state constituency of Euskirchen I is a state constituency in North Rhine-Westphalia . With Bad Münstereifel , Blankenheim , Dahlem , Euskirchen , Mechernich , Nettersheim , Weilerswist and Zülpich, it comprises eight of eleven communities in the Euskirchen district . The electoral district received its current layout in 2015. The municipality of Kall , which had previously belonged to the constituency , was transferred to the state constituency of Düren II - Euskirchen II , while Dahlem moved from this constituency to the Euskirchen I constituency.

The constituency was newly established for the 2005 state election. It emerged from the constituency of Euskirchen II , as it was established for the state election in 2000 (Euskirchen, Kall, Mechernich, Weilerswist, Zülpich). The other communities were among the constituency Aachen District III - Euskirchen I to. From 1980 to 1995 Euskirchen II comprised the municipalities of Bad Münstereifel, Blankenheim, Dahlem , Euskirchen, Hellenthal , Kall, Mechernich, Nettersheim and Schleiden and, from 1990, part of Zülpich. Weilerswist and (the other part of) Zuelpich belonged to the constituency Erftkreis III - Euskirchen I .
