Landtag constituency district Aachen III - Euskirchen I
The regional constituency of Aachen III - Euskirchen I was a regional constituency in North Rhine-Westphalia . It was rebuilt for the state elections in 2000 , but dissolved again in 2005.
Its area comprised the communities Monschau , Roetgen , Simmerath and part of Stolberg from the Aachen district and the communities Bad Münstereifel , Blankenheim , Dahlem , Hellenthal , Nettersheim and Schleiden from the Euskirchen district .
The Schleiden - Monschau constituency , which included the Schleiden and Monschau districts, existed in a similar area until the state elections in 1970 . In the state elections in 1975 it was renamed the Euskirchen II constituency, but its area - despite both districts being dissolved in the meantime - remained unchanged, although only part of the area was in the new Euskirchen district.
The communities in the Aachen district (now the Aachen city region ) now belong to the Aachen IV state electoral district . Dahlem, Hellenthal Schleiden and are part of the constituency Düren II - Euskirchen II , the remaining Euskirchener communities now belong to the constituency Euskirchen I .

Clemens Pick won the direct mandate in this way. Apart from him, no other direct candidate made it into the state parliament.
