Heinz Reinders
Heinz Reinders (born July 11, 1972 in Nordhorn ) is a German educational scientist . He is a university professor at the Julius Maximilians University of Würzburg and holds the Chair of Empirical Educational Research.
Life
Heinz Reinders studied education, psychology and sociology at the Free University of Berlin from 1995 to 1998 . In 2001 he completed his dissertation on the subject of »Political Socialization of Young People in the Post-Walling Period« with Hans Merkens and Richard Münchmeier.
From 2001 to 2007 Heinz Reinders was a research assistant to Manfred Hofer at the Chair of Educational Science II / Educational Psychology at the University of Mannheim.
2003/2004 followed a research stay at the Life Cycle Institute of the Catholic University of America with James Youniss. In 2006 he completed his habilitation in educational science. From 2006 to 2009, Heinz Reinders was the managing editor of the journal Diskurs Kindheits- und Jugendforschung .
In 2007 he was appointed to the Chair of Empirical Educational Research at the Julius Maximilians University of Würzburg and in 2007 and 2012 as a visiting professor at the Universitè de Friborg (CH).
Other engagement
Reinders is an appointed member of the German Academy for Football Culture . He is a board member and youth coach at the Würzburg Dragons .
