Klaus Voussem
Klaus Voussem [ ˈfʊsəm ] (born August 27, 1970 in Euskirchen ) is a German politician and member of the state parliament for the CDU in North Rhine-Westphalia .
Training and work
Voussem passed his Abitur in 1990 at the grammar school Marienschule in Euskirchen and studied law at the University of Bonn from 1990 to 1995 . He completed his studies in 1995 with the first state examination in Cologne and in 1998 with the second state examination in Düsseldorf . From 1996 to 1998 he did his legal clerkship at the Regional Court of Cologne with positions at the Kerpen District Court , the Cologne Public Prosecutor's Office and the Euskirchen City Administration. He has been an independent lawyer in Euskirchen since 1998.
Political offices and memberships
In 1987 Voussem joined the CDU. In his party he has been chairman of the Euskirchen city association since 2011 and deputy chairman of the Euskirchen district association since 2013. In addition, he was involved in the city association as a member of the Junge Union from 1987 to 2005 . In addition, he is a member of the SME and Business Association . From 1994 to 1999 he was a knowledgeable citizen of the Euskirchen City Council, from 1999 a member and since 2001 chairman of the CDU parliamentary group there.
Voussem is a member of the supervisory board of Regionalgas Euskirchen GmbH & Co. KG and a member of the supervisory board of Logo Energie GmbH. He is also a member of the administrative board of LEP-AöR Euskirchen / Weilerswist. He is also a member of the shareholders' meeting of Nordeifel-Tourismus GmbH and a member of the shareholders' meeting of Euskirchener Gemeinnützigen Baugesellschaft mbH as well as a member of the shareholders' meeting of Stadtverkehr Euskirchen GmbH. He is also a member of the Presidium (Vice President) of the North Rhine-Westphalia State Transport Authority and a member of the Foundation Board of the Euskirchen Community Foundation.
Since the state election in North Rhine-Westphalia in 2010 and the state election in North Rhine-Westphalia in 2012 , he is right in the regional elections Euskirchen I elected member of the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia .
In the current term of office, Klaus Voussem is a full member of the Transport Committee and the Sports Committee. He is the transport policy spokesman for the CDU state parliamentary group in North Rhine-Westphalia. Voussem is also deputy chairman of Parliamentary Committee of Inquiry II ("Hacker attack" case / staff unit). He is a deputy member of the committee for the environment, agriculture, nature and consumer protection and the committee for economy, energy and regional planning as well as the subcommittee for mining safety. Furthermore, Klaus Voussem is a member of the Advisory Board for Housing Promotion of NRW.Bank. He is an assessor in the parliamentary committee of the CDU state parliament group in North Rhine-Westphalia. Voussem is deputy chairman of the parliamentary group Bahn of the state assembly.
In the 16th electoral period of the state parliament (until May 31, 2017) Voussem was a full member of the committee for building, housing, urban development and transport and of the main committee as well as a deputy member of the interior committee of the state parliament. From 2012 to 2014 he was deputy chairman of the committee for building, housing, urban development and transport and from 2014 he was the transport policy spokesman for the CDU parliamentary group in North Rhine-Westphalia. In the parliamentary committee of inquiry (PUA I) for construction projects under the direction of the construction and property management, Voussem was the spokesman for his group. From 2010 to 2013, Voussem was also the spokesman for his parliamentary group in the study commission for housing change and new financial investors on the housing markets in North Rhine-Westphalia.
