The state constituency Unna III - Hamm II is a state electoral district in North Rhine-Westphalia . It currently includes the communities of Bergkamen , Bönen and Kamen in the Unna district and the Herringen district of the city of Hamm .
The area roughly corresponds to the area of the former constituency Unna III - Hamm I , which also included the urban district of Hamm-Pelkum .
State election 2017
In the state elections, as in the previous elections, the Social Democrat Rüdiger Weiß entered the state parliament for constituency 117. The turnout was 63.3% of the vote with 61,200 voters. 96,678 citizens were entitled to vote.

The constituency is represented by the directly elected constituency member Rüdiger Weiß (SPD), who has been a member of the state parliament since 2010. The previous CDU member Ina Scharrenbach missed the re-entry into parliament because the state list of her party did not move due to the high number of direct mandates. However, on June 30, 2017, she was appointed Minister for Home, Local Affairs, Building and Equality.

In the early state elections, as in the last election, the Social Democrat Rüdiger Weiss entered the state parliament for constituency 117. The turnout was 59.0% of the vote with 58,219 voters. 98,753 citizens were entitled to vote. The constituency had the second-best result in terms of the SPD's share of the vote.

In the state elections in 2000 , the population development meant that the constituency boundaries were significantly changed before they roughly resumed the old borders for the state elections in 2005. The results refer to the constituency Unna III , which at that time comprised the communities of Lünen and Selm . Bergkamen, Bönen and Kamen, together with part of the district town of Unna, formed the constituency of Unna II . 86,509 residents were entitled to vote.
