The state electoral district of Cologne VI is a state electoral district in Cologne in North Rhine-Westphalia . As the only constituency in Cologne, it does not own a complete city district, but only parts of the city districts of Kalk ( Höhenberg , Humboldt / Gremberg , Kalk , Neubrück , Ostheim and Vingst ) and inner city ( Altstadt-Nord , Neustadt-Nord and Deutz ).

The constituency was newly formed for the 2005 state elections. Before that, the constituency of Cologne VI included the district of Porz . Lime was the state election circuit Köln V , downtown the state election circuit Köln I .

92,371 citizens were eligible to vote in the state elections on May 14, 2017. The turnout was 60.04%. The final results are:

In addition to the directly elected MP Susana Dos Santos Herrmann (SPD), who succeeded the long-standing constituency member Stephan Gatter , who no longer ran after 17 years in parliament, the candidate of the Greens Berivan Aymaz was elected via her party's national list. The previous CDU member of the state parliament, Serap Güler, who had run five years earlier in the Cologne VII state electoral district , missed re-entry into the state parliament despite being sixth on the state list because the CDU state list did not move at all due to the high number of CDU direct mandates. However, she was elected State Secretary in the Laschet cabinet .
